When it’s time to renew our insurance plans, Bill meets with us to explain the changes in rates and coverage, and he offers suggestions for ways to save money or better meet the needs of our employees.  Bill also holds open enrollment meetings with our employees and helps us complete enrollment forms. When employees have life change events and need to change their coverage, and when we have employee turnover, Bill facilitates the changes with the insurance carriers. A.T. Group works with other companies who can provide COBRA and flexible spending plan administration for their clients. It’s nice to have those resources available to us. I’m happy to have the A.T. Group working with us.

When I first began my position at the City of Bayport, I was introducing to Al Roth, A.T. Group as the City insurance group consultant. Al Roth was very approachable to helping me out of any circumstances. One occurrence is when I had a Short Term Disability. Al Roth swung into action by calling the vendor and in return responded to my questions patiently, took proactive measures to prevent future problems, not just on this one occasion. I am glad A.T. The City of Chisago and the Lakes Area Police have been using A.T. Group for several years.  As our confidence in them grew, we gradually switched over all our insurance needs to them.  They are extremely knowledgeable and are up to date on all the changes occurring in health care.  Our city does not have a “human resources” department and it is has really lifted a burden off my shoulders to depend on them to handle situations that arise.  As icing on the cake, the A.T. They have a good rapport with all of the insurance carriers which helps when dealing with your personal claims if need be. They go above and beyond the call of duty.

We have been very pleased with our broker at A.T. Group!  We recently switched from a traditional health insurance plan to a high deductible health plan and health savings account.  The employees were initially very nervous about the change.  Our broker provided thorough information and took the time to meet individually with employees to discuss their particular situation and to reassure them that the new plan would actually save them money.  He was right, and our employees couldn’t be happier!

Group has led us through many changes in health, life and disability insurance coverage for our employees.  We’re a small city with a limited number of employees yet I feel like I am an important account to Al and everyone with A.T. Group.  They are very good at providing information on added value products such as dental and vision insurance and find ways that it could work with a flex plan.  These things make all our employees happy.  From an administrative point of view we are especially pleased with the benefit administration system which relieves city staff from a lot of reporting duties and has a wonderful process for collecting and remitting retired employees’ insurance premiums separately from the payroll process.
